Fourfoursixsix were engaged to refurbish a 185 sqm Grade II* listed private home on Holland Park Road. A complete renovation of the first floor allowed the area to be increased, providing an additional bedroom whilst simultaneously increasing the bathroom spaces.

The circulation was reconfigured to include a lightweight, cantilevered stair of glass, steel and timber, repositioned to its original location within the building. This not only provided a sculptural centrepiece for the scheme, but also maximised light and space within the circulation areas. The interior design plays on a contrast between light and dark tones. A range of bespoke white lacquered joinery contrasting with the dark European oak floor running throughout.
