Fourfoursixsix were appointed by Galliard Homes to develop Plot C1 of the Nine Elms Parkside masterplan, which sits between the Battersea Power Station and Embassy Gardens sites. The proposal was granted reserved matters approval in June 2019 under delegated powers.
The development comprises of 262 residential apartments located within three 11 to 13 storey buildings that share use of a communal courtyard on a First Floor podium. The scheme has a small basement for plant, with car parking, cycle storage and refuse stores located on the Ground Floor.
Building A faces East, creating a civic backdrop to the Linear Park, with a double height ‘Cultural Anchor’ located on the Ground Floor. Building B runs along the north west elevation, also facing onto the Linear Park. Building C connects to the south west façade of Building B, creating an L-shaped form which frames the communal courtyard.
“Fourfoursixsix led the project team well throughout the process, ensuring deadlines are met and presented in a manner that was concise and organised. By understanding real world requirements and taking the time to fully comprehend specific client needs, Fourfoursixsix ensure the resultant proposal is fit for purpose and, ultimately, buildable.”
